The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) is a leading Arab financial institution established in 1976, with contributions from all Arab countries to its capital. Its primary goal is to enhance food security in Arab countries.
Throughout its extensive history in agricultural investment, the AAAID has played a vital role in establishing numerous agricultural companies specialising in the production of essential food commodities in the Arab region. Currently, AAAID contributes to a large number of companies, about 45 companies and projects under implementation. The headquarters of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development is located in Academic City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (https://www.aaaid.org/en/), which is the organizing body of the conference, seeks initiatives to achieve food security in the Arab world and to enhance its role in achieving this goal.
The convening of this conference continues the efforts aimed at developing and advancing the Arab agricultural sector, as securing food for our Arab peoples in light of the current global situation necessitates the integration of roles to establish appropriate policies for the expansion of agricultural land reclamation and mobilization of financial resources to increase investments in the agricultural sector.
It also involves developing ways to utilize natural resources by adopting advanced agricultural production techniques and applying digital innovations and artificial intelligence in agricultural production and processing to achieve the desired goal of reducing the Arab food gap and attaining the goal of sustainable agricultural development.
AED 10,000 will be awarded to the best paper in each track.
